Goosie Fly
Privacy Policy
Goosie Fly (the "game") is made by ANGEL TECH CORPORATION INDUSTRIES L.L.C., an Oklahoma limited liability company ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information is collected when you play the game on this website, and how it is used.
What the game saves on your device
The game saves your progress (points, upgrades and migration legs), your personal bests, your settings (sound) and, if you choose one, your pilot name in your browser's local storage, so they're still there next time you play. It also saves a random player ID that the game creates for you. Clearing this site's data in your browser deletes all of it.
We don't ask for your real name, email address or any account.
World high scores
The world high scores are optional. When you set a pilot name, the game posts your personal-best flights to our high score server. For each posted flight we store:
- your pilot name and the random player ID,
- the flight's points, distance, altitude, air time, migration leg and whether you flew the Goose Plane,
- the game version and the date and time, and
- a one-way scrambled code made from your IP address (a "hash"), used only to stop spam and cheating. We don't store the IP address itself.
Pilot names and scores are shown publicly on the high score boards. The player ID and the IP code are never shown. Please don't use your real name or any personal information as your pilot name. We may remove names or scores that break our Terms of Use. To have your scores removed, email us with your pilot name.
Advertising
The game is free and shows ads from Google, through Google AdSense and its ads for web games.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some other vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
- Google explains how it uses information from sites that show its ads in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Some ads are optional: after a flight you can choose to watch an ad to double that flight's points. The points are doubled only if the ad plays to the end, and an ad isn't always available.
If you're in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland
Before ads use cookies or personal data, a consent message provided by Google asks for your choice. You can change your choice at any time with the privacy settings link that message adds to the page.
If you're in a US state with privacy laws, such as California
You may have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising. Use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link shown on the page to opt out.
Other services the game uses
The game and its high score server are hosted by Cloudflare, and the game loads its fonts from Google Fonts. Like any website, these services receive standard technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, when your browser requests files from them, and they handle it under their own privacy policies.
Children
The game is made for teens and adults and isn't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll take appropriate steps.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
